GAME OVERVIEW

WAR HAS RETURNED TO THE ORION SPUR
It is the 25th century. The Terran Coalition was born from humanity’s exodus from Earth. When humanity reached the stars, it brought its oldest argument along: how people should be governed. The Terran Coalition chose liberty. The League of Sol chose control, and in 2433, invaded the Coalition. The war lasted thirty years before the Coalition finally won. Nine years of fragile peace have followed. Now, the clouds of war stir once more.
The Coalition Defense Force is the thin line between civilization and chaos. On one side: billions of innocent colonists trying to live their lives. On the other: the League of Sol Navy and the Popular Front for the Liberation of the Orion Spur… a ruthless organization with military-grade hardware and no regard for civilian life.
You are a commanding officer in the CDF. Your ship is the SV Leonidas, an Ajax-class destroyer. Your mission is simple: protect Coalition space and the people in it. How you accomplish this task is up to you.
COMBAT THAT DEMANDS YOUR ATTENTION
Space combat in Starship Command: Orion Spur is real-time, tactical, and unforgiving.
This isn’t point-and-click—it’s authentic capital ship warfare where every system matters.
Power Management
Your reactor has a finite output. Divert power to shields during an enemy barrage, push it to weapons for a decisive strike, or max out engines to close distance or disengage. You can’t have everything at full. Choose wisely.
Heat Management
Push your weapons too hard and you’ll overheat, damaging your own ship. Sustained firefights demand discipline as knowing when to fire and when to let your systems cool is the key to success.
Subsystem Targeting
Strip an enemy’s shields, disable their engines, knock out their weapons. How you dismantle a threat matters as much as whether you destroy it. Some missions require captures. Others require restraint. And sometimes… overwhelming firepower is the only solution.
Missiles and Point Defense
Missiles deliver devastating damage, but don’t forget the enemy has point defense, just as you do. Timing your salvos and saturating defenses adds an additional layer of tactical depth to every engagement.
EXPLORE YOUR SHIP
Between missions, walk the decks of the Leonidas. Visit the bridge, the commanding officer’s day cabin, the deck one conference room, main engineering, medical bay, mess hall, armory, and shuttle bay.
Talk to your crew and learn who they are. Understand how combat has affected them. Starship Command: Orion Spur treats the human cost of war with maturity… your officers aren’t just gameplay functions. They’re people, and the story is as much about them as it is about the battles.
