Friday Fleet Dispatch #1 – 7/11/2025

Commander,
This week brought significant progress across multiple fronts as we push toward our demo release and Kickstarter launch this fall.
Mission Development
Unity Developer Dustin Weitkunat continues building out the opening campaign mission that will serve as our playable demo. We’re now 2.5 minutes into the mission sequence, with Dustin simultaneously refining our internal mission-building tools. Every system for this demo mission has been designed to be part of the full campaign’s foundation, ensuring modularity and scalability.
Ship Modeling & Interior Design
Our two 3D artists are advancing on two critical projects. First, they’re creating the model for a ship that we’ll reveal more information on in the coming days. Second, they’re crafting the interior hallways of the CSV Leonidas—the spaces you’ll walk through between bridge duty and crew interactions. Both projects are moving rapidly toward completion.
Crew Readiness
The team is troubleshooting character presentation issues and upgrading shaders and textures for the Leonidas bridge crew. Our goal is ensuring every crew member meets the same visual quality standard as our ship models and environments. We hope to share progress screen shots and videos on this soon.
Kickstarter Preparation
We’ve finalized our stretch goal lineup and are putting the finishing touches on the Kickstarter preview page. The launch is approaching fast, and we’re making sure everything is mission-ready.
More intel coming next week. Stay sharp.
